SLAC's Laser Safety Officer (LSO) will use the lcaw-l and qlo-l lists for communicating with LCA Workers (lcaws) and Qualified Laser Operators (qlos). QLOs do hands-on laser alignment work and are required to complete ESH253PRA. LCA Workers perform support tasks in LCAs but do not do hands-on alignment work.
