Hi all,
this is a breif update on the neutral and D*0 state.

On the D*0 side:

a) Run-1 seems validated. you can see
http://www.slac.stanford.edu/~asarti/garbage/prova4
and compare with
http://www.slac.stanford.edu/~asarti/garbage/prova4
(# of events is slightly different because of a job has crashed: this will
be fixed soon)
Number of events, and purity will come soon (problem with the argus fit
on root).

b) Run-2 production has already started on Lyon !

On the neutrals side:
Mnu2 plots are starting to look better (means like what was shown by
Daniele:
http://www.slac.stanford.edu/~asarti/recoil/21112001/Mnu_root.ps

). The prevoius discrepancies were due to missing cuts on the
purity of the B in the events and the missing requiremnt of correlation
on event charges..)

We have studied gammas: Energy, phi and theta.
Phi seems to be not promising (flat distributions..)
Theta and E are objcet of a deeper study
(as preliminary result on theta you can see
http://www.slac.stanford.edu/recoil/19112001/ratio_theta_gam.eps)

We are planning to look at the combination of Energy and Theta...

We want to optimize the resolution of Mx and the quantity:
r = #vub / sqrt( #vub + #vcb)
But we are waiting for the sideband subtraction..

comments and questions are welcomed,
Alessio
