I have run the data-MC comparison with the new MC mixture: all the generic
and cocktail I could find yesterday without Ks bug, including both generic
and MC.
The composition is as follows:
B0 Bch
data 15741 28211
generic 12420 13006
cocktail 5966 9440
we therefore have overall a ration data/MC of 0.86 and 1.3 in the case of
B0 and Bch respectively with a much larger contribution of the cocktail in
the case of the charged Bs.
With this composition the comparison plots are in
http://www.slac.stanford.edu/~rfaccini/phys/vub/noksbug/noksbug-comp.html
http://www.slac.stanford.edu/~rfaccini/phys/vub/noksbugB0/noksbug-comp.html
http://www.slac.stanford.edu/~rfaccini/phys/vub/noksbugBch/noksbug-comp.html
for all B, B0 and Bch respectively.
The most striking aspect is that while mm2 looks slightly better than
usual (or at most as bad as usual), mxhad is decent, but the distribution
of mxhadfit this time is quite off, in particular in the neutral Bs ...
retuning the kinfit might be highly beneficial...
