Hi all,
here's an update in the production situation:
1) data:
validation of rootfiles is still ongoing: we have very few (~5 duplicated
runnumbers, ~5 missing runs and ~2 corrupted rootfiles)remaining problems.
I'm going to
address all those points as soon as I have a bit of time but they're not
major issues now. All data is now placed in AWG18 disk.
A complete chain is available in the official place:
/afs/slac.stanford.edu/g/babar/www/Physics/Analysis/AWG/InclusiveSL/islrecoil/chains/data
named:
data_103102_All.ch

A checked version of that chain (wihtout corrupted or empty rootfiles) is
growing (quite slowly :)..) in the same place as:"cdata_103102_All.ch"
(the c prefix stands for 'checked'). That chain is in the format that
allow you to skip the reading of each file while running anarecoil (fast
option) in roder to calculate the numer of entries. I'm doing it once for
all for all the users :) !!!!! (code is from Urs..)
(time estimate ~4 hours from now for ~ 8k files)

2) generic:
Generic MC has been splitted btw 'new' (no SP4 bug) and old (SP4 bug in).
The available 'new' MC is:
~100M ev (B0 + B+)
can be found in:
/nfs/farm/babar/AWG18/ISL/sx-080702/newgenbb/

chain is
/afs/slac.stanford.edu/g/babar/www/Physics/Analysis/AWG/InclusiveSL/islrecoil/chains/genbb
named:genbb_103102_All.ch
and the checked one is growing in the same place as cgenbb_103102_All.ch
(time estimate ~4&1/2 hours from now for ~ 9k ev)

The 'old' (SP4 bug in) MC is still under AWG8:
/nfs/farm/babar/AWG8/ISL/sx-071802/gen_prod/
chain
/afs/slac.stanford.edu/g/babar/www/Physics/Analysis/AWG/InclusiveSL/islrecoil/chains/data
genbb_103102_BUG.ch

PRODUCTION IS NOT ENDED:
I'm currently h2rooting files from Urs (2001), I'm producing 2002 files
(ChB) and henning is producing 2000 (I've just started the h2root
procedure): more generic is coming.

3) cocktail:
cocktail has been moved to AWG23: if anyone can produce the chains that
would be great :) (Urs can you do that tomorrow and post the chains?)

4) disk space:
we decided to store data in AWG18, cocktail and hbook files in AWG23 and
we're going to investigate the possibility of moving the generic MC from
AWG18 (were it is currently stored) to the new AWG disk that Fabrizio is
preparing for us: this in order to rely the least on a given server :)
(daniele is experiencing problems with AWG18...)

AWG7 has been cleared.
AWG8 is still holding generic cc and uds and a skimmed version of the
cocktail. I'm going to take care of that when I'll be back at home.
AWG12 contains mainly tcl files and hbook files. I'm coordinating with
henning the move of all the hbook files and I'm keeping now the tcl files
were thay are. When I'll be back at home we'll find out a solution for the
move of tcl files...

Let me know any remaining doubt/question.
I'm stilla t work for 10 min tonight and I'll be here tomorrow morning
before leaving at 11:30.

Thanks to all for your patient cooperation.
Good production to all.
Alessio
