Hoi,
here is a mail from Ed Thorndike. Their default value for LambdaBar
seems to be a bit (<=60 MeV) higher than what we have -- if I
interpret the tables correctly.
The interesting part is that we could do something about the
functional form of the SF.
Please do not publicize the cbx mentioned below, this is for internal
consumption.
Cheers,
--U.

Hi Urs,
This morning I spoke with Matthias Neubert, and he confirmed that the
parameters of the shape function should NOT be taken from b -> c l nu
measurements. The NAMES of the parameters are the same, but the MEANINGS are
not the same.
There is a CLEO internal report that describes how we used the b -> s gamma
spectrum for the b -> u l nu endpoint analysis. It should not be viewed as a
public document, but you are welcome to it. ("Private Communication" if ever a
reference is needed.) To get a copy:

It will remain in this public area for a week.

As you will see, our aim is "endpoint", but you should be able to use it, with
some adjustments. In particular, we give a bunch of points on the 1 sigma error
ellipse, for each of the three parametrizations of the shape function. Sticking
these in, wandering around the error ellipse, you should be able to determine
how much your result varies.
Hope this is of some use. Write if questions.
Cheers, Ed
