It's throwing an IOException, and I think it's because I'm using it
improperly. That why I asked for the syntax. First off I can't seem to
instantiate the class from the hep.lcd.io.sio.lcd package. So if I do
something like:
import hep.lcd.io.*;
...
LCDWriter lcdout = new LCDWriter( outfile.sio );
the compiler complains that it can't find the LCDWriter class. Am I
missing some sort of import or using this improperly? To use it I've
copied the code from the api site and created my own LCDWriter class
(unaltered). Also what sort of outputstream should I be handing it.
FileOutputStream, BufferedOutputStream, maybe SIOOutputStream? When I
try to use SIOOutputStream I run into the same problem I had with
LCDWriter in that the compiler can't find the class.
