Hi-
I ran Daniele's newly committed fit over the new root files (with the fix
to the splitoff) and the old p00 root files.
new root files w/ splitoff fix:
BRBR = 0.0207238 +- 0.00250989(stat) +- 0.000927692(MC stat)
p00 root files w/out fix:
BRBR = 0.0205784 +- 0.00250995(stat) +- 0.000930665(MC stat)
So, it looks like the prl number is reproducable and the change from the
fix is very small. I'm going to stick the new root files from
VubAnalysisApp in our AWG space. I was thinking of putting them here:
/nfs/farm/babar/AWG23/ISL/VubAna-out/prl-17Jun03/
Maybe the naming isn't agreeable with everyone, so we can change it if you
like. I figured a dir to indicate VubAnalysisApp's output with sub-dirs
that involve a date would be a reasonable scheme.
Now that the validation on VubAnalysisCode/App is complete, I've
edited the web page for Compiling/Linking VubAnalysis to reflect the
change from anaQA to VubAnalysisApp. The executable is run in just the
same way as anaQA, of course. So to reiterate, common recoil methods will
be found in RecoilAnalysis/baseClass.hh&cc and vub-specific methods are
found in VubAnalysisCode.hh&cc. In the baseClass, I've used virtual
declarations of methods so if you want to define a method in
VubAnalysisCode that already exists in baseClass (like recoil() or
mcTruth() for example) you can declare them with the same name. Have a
look through the new code and the baseClass at the treatment of recoil()
for an example.
Cheers,
Ed
