TEXT/PLAIN (59 lines)

1) summer plans
There is general consensus on getting preliminary results on the time
scale of summer (or earlier) based on run1+2 and publication on full data
sample by end of the year for the 4 ongoing analyses on the recoil:

	a - Q^2 Mx
	b - Vub Excl
	c - unfolding of spectra
	d - b->s gamma technique

Only possible exception: item 'd' might want to get a publication out on
run1+2 if Belle publishes

Note on conference dates:

PIC June 27-29th material to RC by ~ Apr 29th
ICHEP Aug 16-22th material to RC by ~ June 22nd

2) Analysis studies

there are ongoing studies on
	- generator
	- VirVubFitter
	- reduction of dependence of efficiency on mX
	- lepton spectra agreement
	- list in
http://www.slac.stanford.edu/BFROOT/www/Physics/Analysis/AWG/InclusiveSL/vub-nosf

please make sure that updates in this land get discussed and propagated
(when of interest) as fast as possible

[technical issue: there is still confusion about the ddecay.table - I will
try and figure this out]

3) CM2 strategy
Two open issues:
	- large ntuples vs reduced ntuples
	- saving only events with leptons or also events with high energy
photons (or all events)

These can be resolved only once we have:
	- study of the reduction in size achievable by saving only SL and/or
b->s gamma events
	- study of the time needed to run over reskimmed CM2 files

The Queen Mary group will join us full power in may and will start with
setting up the CM2 version of these analyses. In the meanwhile Francesca
and Daniele will start doing the preliminary studies to resolve the
above-mentioned issues.

additions to this summary are welcome
	bye
	Ric
