Hi Pete,
o FZK - Gregory
o status of setting up the xrootd system?
As you know, I am taking over Rolf's work concerning xrootd at GridKa;
the current status is that we have been able to see a file using xrootd on
a test SL3 nas box but it still doesn't work when trying to access files
on the Redhat 7.2 installed nas boxes. All of these machines are in the
same sub-domain.
The output show:

I did today another test as suggested by Jean-Yves Nief, trying to ping
these machines on port 1094:
$ telnet f01-001-121 1094
Trying 10.65.1.121...
telnet: Unable to connect to remote host: Connection refused
$ telnet f01-001-106 1094
Trying 10.65.1.106...
Connected to f01-001-106.gridka.de (10.65.1.106).
Escape character is '^]'.
Connection closed by foreign host.

Any suggestions?
Regards,
Gregory
