#1 It depends a bit on the number of new files. XrdClient is already
quite big, so I would
suggest a new module. But then you have to find a new name ... ;-)
#2 To setup something finding the 'java' location you could have a look
at what is done for
'perl' in the configure.classic and configure.ac .
#3 I support Derek's suggestion.
