Hi Heiko,
here is a very brief status report from the spectral unfolding side. There
are four open ends we are currently working on:
a) I am still looking into the truth matching for signal MC (see an
earlier mail to the vub-recoil list). I will give an update on this when I
think I figured it out...
b) I am working in the extra truth signal MC we need for the
initialization of the unfolding. The necessary variables should be in the
(test) ntuples now.
I need to find out how to make GeneratorsQA write root tuples rather than
hbooks to keep the variable names capitalized in the correct way (Wolfgang
said he might know how to do that) and I need to find out in what ratio we
need resonant and nonresonant MC.
c) VVF needs to be able to read those extra signal MC files, that seems
to be mostly working, maybe some technicalities left.
d) A Berkeley undergrad working us compares the mX resolution for
different signal multiplicities. The idea would be to group events
according to multiplicities, such that the resolution within one group
is very similar and use these groups for the multiplicity category
reweighting.
Cheers,
Kerstin
