Agenda:
1. Schedule
FDR-1 starts next week. Expect a delay of a couple of days before
it starts being sent to Tier-2s.
May be better for SLAC folk to do the subscriptions to avoid giving
a recipe to Alexei as the first set should have the archive bit set
but not the second.
2. Disk Space
Need 10TB plus another 10TB for second set. Have the space
available, have kept 24TB out of service.
As long as data stays on disk at BNL data transfer should be
okay. The DQ2 system has not been used too much recently. If people
see DQ2 has stopped they should email Wei. It does seem to working
as folk have been bringing data in, although did have to ask Wei to
restart DQ2. Wei will be in China, probably not worth having anyone
at restart DQ2. Wei will be back the 18th February.
Peter will monitor the BNL web page that monitors the FDR.
Don't think that we will have SRM in use for FDR at SLAC.
3. Analysis Jobs
Expect most jobs will be local jobs. Don't think pathena may work
right now. MichaelE asked the PANDA folk to do some test jobs at
all Tier-2s but haven't seen any yet. So could try pathena but
expect will need to use local jobs.
Know Sarah was going to work on something related to her Tau
work. Expect everyone to try doing something.
David has the issue with opening files on different servers, not
clear what the problem is. Don't believe AndyH has given back any
feedback. Stephen believes it is a problem in POOL as can duplicate
it with a simple POOL executable but not in a plain ROOT.
Could use dq2 to find out which data is already available. All
datasets begin with fdr.
4. FDR-2
Will need more disk space. Will get 230TB usable approx when order
is done.
