This year's Extremely Large Databases Workshop will
take place in Lyon, France, on August 28 and 29.

I need your input, please see below.


Agenda/topics
=============

If you have any suggestions what topics we should
include on the agenda, please send them to me.
We are tentatively considering breaking some of
the discussions into several working groups, each
focusing in-depth on one topic. If you have topic
suggestions for such groups, or an opinion whether
it is a good or bad idea, I'd like to hear that too.
I will compile the responses, and will discuss them
with the organizing committee.


Reaching out
============
As discuss at XLDB2, we would like to reach out to
the European and Asian communities dealing with
large databases, as well as to the under-represented
science communities, such as biology. If you have
connections with any of these communities and would
be willing to help make the connections, please let
me know.


Attending the workshop
======================
And finally, since the workshop is in Europe, I realize
it maybe be more difficult for some of you to attend it.
Can you let me know if you will attend if you get an
invite? If not, might you have a colleague, perhaps
based in Europe or Asia, that could take your place?
