Details:
Hello,
I would like to give access from our xrootd farm to our dCache file system. I
have added the option:
oss.namelib /usr/lib64/libXrdPosix.so file:/etc/storage.xml?protocol=dcap
to our xrootd/cmsd conf. file where:
[root@tditaller025 etc]# cat /etc/storage.xml
<storage-mapping>
<lfn-to-pfn protocol="dcap"
path-match="/+pnfs-disk/pic.es/(.*)"
result="dcap://dcache-disk.pic.es:22128/pnfs-disk/pic.es/$1"/>
</storage-mapping>
I would not work with a pnfs file:
#xrdcp -d 3
root://tditaller025.pic.es//pnfs-disk/pic.es/at3/test/DATA_00152508_physics_MinBias_f241_m433_FLIPA-03-02-00.root
/tmp/asd.$RANDOM
...
...
120315 15:15:47 20602 Xrd: PhyConnection: Disconnecting socket...
120315 15:15:47 20602 Xrd: XrdClientMessage::ReadRaw: Failed to read data
(8388608 bytes) from substream 0.
120315 15:15:47 20602 Xrd: BuildMessage: propagating a communication error
message.
But it works with a local file:
#xrdcp root://tditaller025.pic.es:1094//tmp/hola /tmp/asd.$RANDOM
[xrootd] Total 0.00 MB |====================| 100.00 % [inf MB/s]
Do I need a different lib in the oss.namelib option?
Thanks so much in advance
Carlos & Alex
