Follow-up Comment #1, bug #92620 (project xrootd):
Hi Carlos,
You appear to be mixing configurations a bit here.
I provide a third-party library, libXrdCmsTfc.so, which allows you to use a
CMS-style TFC to map file names. The proper configuration line is something
like this:
oss.namelib /usr/lib64/libXrdCmsTfc.so
file:/etc/xrootd/storage.xml?protocol=direct
You have to install the "xrootd-cmstfc" RPM separately; it's not part of
Xrootd proper.
Then, you need to instruct Xrootd to proxy data using libXrdPss.so:
ofs.osslib /usr/lib64/libXrdPss.so
pss.origin dcache.example.com:1094
# pss.setopt DebugLevel 1
pss.setopt ReadAheadSize 32768
pss.setopt ReadCacheSize 8388608
pss.setopt ReadAheadStrategy 0
pss.setopt ReadTrimBlockSize 32768
I find setting the DebugLevel to 1 a decent step when debugging, but too
verbose for production.
