Details:
Trying to read from ROOT a file using xrootd gives the following error:
SysError in <TUnixSystem::UnixRecv>: recv (Connection reset by peer)
Error in <TNetFile::TNetFile>: can't open connection to rootd on host
pcitdss1401.cern.ch at port 1094
Error in <TNetFile::Create>: server does not accept connection from this
host: contact server administrator
Error in <TNetFile::Create>: failing on file
root://pcitdss1401.cern.ch//home/esindril/Desktop/Event.root
On the server side:
120404 17:11:37 9448 XrdProtocol: ?:20@pcitdss1400 terminated matching
protocol not found
120404 17:11:50 9449 XrdProtocol: ?:22@localhost terminated handshake not
received
I am using: xrootd version 2.9.7 build v3.2.0-rc1
A simple way to test this is to use the MainEvent.cxx class from
$ROOTSYS/test.
Commands:
$ ./Event 400 1 1 11 //create the Event.root file
$ ./Event 400 1 1 30 //try to read it, one has to put the
//right path from which the file is
//is read (in MainEvent.cxx)
