Follow-up Comment #1, bug #95234 (project xrootd):
The server response is correct in this case. The server has noticed that the
client is not multiplexing the connection as it is supposed to and is
stalling the client to get it's connections to the client aligned with the
client's actions instead of simply rejecting the client. Indeed, the way the
client is handling the physical connection is faulty in many ways. After a
lot of debugging it looks like the client can be fixed to not establish
phantom connections. More testing will be needed.
