OK, I get it. Yes, I pass a CacheIO object that XrdPosixFile derives from.
So, it provides an implementation for the Path() method which is essentially
broken. I see now that I also have to modify the CacheIO object so that its
virtual Path() method returns char not const char. So, yes this is supported.
Access to the actual class isn't but that's not what we are talking about
here. Whew, I wrote that stuff long time ago and had to refresh my memory on
the structure.
