Folks,

Chip and I sent out proposed dates for the general energy frontier meetings in the spring.  We heard grumbling, but we did not hear useful alternative proposals.  We now propose to fix these dates as:

April 3-6     at an East Coast or  Midwest site
June 30 -July 3   (just after Lepton-Photon)  at a West Coast site       (We will have a limited agenda on July 3 to satisfy people who want to leave early.  These meetings  will not, in any case, need a formal close-out.)

This is the last call for objections or alternative proposals.

We would be happy if people would suggest venues for these meetings:  

For April, Sally has proposed BNL.   Any other suggestions?
SLAC is hosting Lepton-Photon, so our communications and meetings people will all be on vacation during the first week of July.   Robin, would UC Davis like to host the second meeting?

We are still in negotiation with the KITP about the dates for the meeting there.
