Follow-up Comment #3, bug #88357 (project xrootd):
good to know about 'copytruncate', though I would then expect then to get two
"rotated" files (one by xrootd, the other by logrotate - I don't think we can
sync these to the same millisecond).
SIGHUP is just a suggestion (I believe it is used by rsyslog, httpd and some
others), others use USR1. SEGV might be an alternative :-P
