- First day : meeting with Dominique Boutigny, and Emmanuel Gangler
- prototypal, easy to experiment, vs production ready orientation of
Qserv ?
- discussion about others backends than MySQL
- Cloud-computing architecture interest
- A working install of Qserv on 4 virtual machines will be in place on
in2p3 computers after SLAC meeting.
- Pre-requisite : 4 in2p3 machines need to be accessed by ssh.
ticket/2416 :
-------------
DECISIONS :
- ticket/2416 can be commited to master, assuming most of the requested
features will be made in the ticket related to scons
- EMH and FJS will write a design document describing the technology used
and the features implemented
- a directory admin/examples will be created
- open a new ticket for scons
Scons and automated installation
---------------------------------
DECISIONS :
- the proposition of Scons/python install procedure has been approved.
Indeed, it will reduce the numbers of languages
- a new ticket will soon be open for Scons by EMS and FSJ
- the US team will study the interest of the above maintenance
contract when the first version of the scons install procedure will be
delivered.
- EMH and FJS will write a design document describing the technologie
used and the features implemented
Meta Loading :

DECISIONS :
Some objects meta were not loaded correctly. EMH and FJS have to improve
their current implementation of DSH instructions in order to correct this.
Code refactoring :
------------------
DECISIONS :
This point will be studied during a next phone meeting, or at next SLAC
meeting, after the above point have been nearly completed.
