Build the cvs head of hps-detectors locally and this should go away.

Hi Jeremy,

I'm doing some work on the cvs head (or at least I've updated to the head but I have some local changes not committed yet) and now I get an error when trying to build. Seems to be related to the 1.6 snapshot that's in the pom. I don't think I understand the details of how these get deployed but I thought the release wouldn't affect me as I'm looking at the snapshot? 

Any ideas what has changed here and what I need to do?
