Dear Colleagues,
There are on-going discussions to settle on a fast,
parameterized detector simulation for Snowmass studies. The emerging
consensus seems to be DELPHES. Further details will be forthcoming. The
next choice to be made is between DELPHES 2.03 and DELPHES 3.0 versions.
This does not mean that other options are not
possible. For instance, people already making progress with PGS may keep
going, just let us know.
The discussion that is converging on DELPHES is mainly
designed to help new studies get started, where the proponents don't
already have a fast simulation up and running.
In other words, if you have not already started, the
recommendation is to start with DELPHES.
Best Regards,
