Details:
One of the handy features for the old client was copying to /dev/null (for
example, when trying to debug connection issues without writing to the local
filesystems).
I find myself doing this frequently when debugging sites:
[bbockelm@hcc-briantest globus-common]$ xrdcp -f -d 1
root://xrootd.unl.edu//foo/bar /dev/null
xrdcpy: Operation not supported processing /dev/null
However, it seems support was inadvertently dropped for the new client. Can
it please be restored?
