Dear colleagues,
'Tohoku Workshop on Higgs and Beyond' will be held from June 5 to 8,
2013 at Tohoku University. The host is Faculty of Science of Tohoku
University, and the venue is Hagi hall on comps.
It is widely recognized that the discovery of Higgs particle has opened up
a new area of particle physics. On the other hand, there has been no
new measurements that contradict the standard model. The standard
model, however, has serious shortcomings such as the fine tuning problem
and the lack of candidate for the dark matter, and theories beyond the
standard model that deals with those problems predicts new physics
at the TeV scale. Under such circumstances, this workshop tries to
see the future direction of particle physics from the points of view of
both experimental and theoretical fronts.
The home page of the workshop is found at
http://www.ilc.tohoku.ac.jp/higgsandbeyond2013/
where you can register also.
We are expecting lively discussions, so please join us
if you are interested in the direction of particle physics for the
coming era.

Masahiro Yamaguchi and Hitoshi Yamamoto
