Minutes of the EF conveners' meeting June 27, 2013

Most of the meeting was spent in presenting and discussing the preview slides for your conclusions in Seattle. You have already received these slides, so that discussion need not be repeated. If the discussion led you to modify your slides, please do. Then circulate them to your working group mailing list before Sunday.
We discussed the logistical arrangements for the Seattle meeting. There are two important points:
1. We had originally set the end time for the Sunday parallel sessions at 6 pm, but some groups have scheduled talks beyond 6 pm. This is permitted, because we have the rooms essentially indefinitely (We have the ARC auditorium until 8pm.) But, we discourage you. It is a long day and people will be hungry.
2. We apologize that the Vidyo arrangements are not optimal. Each session has been assigned a Vidyo URL, e.g.
UWSnowmass_Top 92594002 http://vidyoportal.cern.ch/flex.html roomdirect.html&key=sk4RWNDsH4lA
However, for all rooms except the ARC auditorium, someone in your group will have to run Vidyo on their laptop. Gordon Watts will provide audio speakers. Chip and I apologize for this arrangement, but we were not able to do better.
Chip and I announced the following request (which we made already at Brookhaven):
The first draft of your working group report must be sent to the snowmass-ef@slac mailing list on July 15 (a Monday) at the latest. This is a hard deadline.
There can be holes and placeholders in these reports. However, we will have only 2 weeks from this date to Minnesota to react to these reports within our conveners' group, smooth out any discrepancies or overlaps, and consult with the members of our working groups.
