I apologize for the flood of emails, but I thought I'd add to Michael Peskin's email below (by drawing your attention to a point mentioned in the email further below
by the local organizer, Gordon Watts)...
Since the travel budgets are shrinking, dorm rooms for Seattle might be worth considering: registration information for this option is up on the webpage (see under lodging link)...
In particular, a single dorm room ("high end", i.e., in new building and with **private** shower) is $440 (including tax) for 4 nights (including $80 for food)...so, **in total** it might be ~ $200 cheaper than the hotels...

We will hold the final meeting of the Energy Frontier working groups at the Unviersity
of Washington in Seattle on June 30 - July 3. Chip Brock and I and the UW group
encourage you to register for this event as soon as possible. And, please spread the
word. It should be a very interesting meeting.
At the moment, there are many hotel rooms reserved in discounted blocks. Please

I am informed that one block will be released on May 17 (tomorrow), so please
act soon. June is high tourist season in Seattle.
I had trouble doing online registration, but there was no problem, and plenty

Hi,
I hope you are doing well! I've gotten some registration information back. So far only 30 people have registered. I don't know what the turn-on curve looked like for the BNL meeting, but this is problematic as some of the hotel blocks will be released shortly (the soonest is May 17th). The deal will still be available, but who knows if there will be room any longer.

Also, I have gotten the dorm room registration up and going, finally. I’ve actually had the information for a number of days, but have been so busy with things back here (non Snowmass releated). $300 if you want to share a room, $430 if you want to have it to your self. There is always one bathroom per room. And this includes $80 on a meal card you can spend in cafe’s, a small market, etc.
I would suggest sending out an email similar to the following (below)... but you probably can put it in better context than I can.

Hi all,
We urge you to register for the Seattle Snowmass workshop and to secure your lodging. The June-July season is high season for Seattle and many of the hotels may well run out of room. The blocks of rooms will be released over the coming week. We also have dorm room registration information up!
