I made an interim release of the KPiX plugin (version 1.7.0) to allow
testing connection to the beam test DAQ server. Once the server is started
(it has not been started yet), you should be able to connect by launching
Jas3 and selecting "File"-"Open Data Source..."-"KPiX EventServer...".
Accept defaults and click "Finish". You should be able to see events in the
KPiX browser.

Note that you will not be able to run any meaningful analysis now since we
do not have an applicable configuration file yet - this is for connection
testing only. Functionality not related to reading events from the DAQ
server is not affected by the plugin update.
