Hi Adrian,
Not at all. XRootD is fully multi-threaded and can use as many cores as
you have. When this situation occurs it's normally due to an error in a
plug-in where all the requests pileup on a single core. When you see this
happen, a simple pstack of the process along with the day's log file will
help us determine what the issue is. Did this resolve itself?
