Thanks for your quick answer. I will answer what I can now and Tony will have to answer you with what I can not.
Yes, xrootdfs works on the lower levels just fine but does not work on the upper level.
Our longer term goal is replicate this setup to many different Cloud sites and then make available the
entire storage through a "global cloud" redirector and xrootdfs mount.
Only unix security is involved. There is user authorization through an auth_file.
The xrootd user is a "superuser" and can read/write any where.
Tony, please answer the other questions as I can not.
Finally, to all developers on the list can a redirector have two meta managers? What if we wanted to glue together
all of the persistent storage across all cloud sites with a unique read/write redirector/meta manager and xrootdfs
mount point.
