Dear Colleagues,

Please find attached drafts of the "30-page" Energy Frontier summary report and the "4-page" Energy
Frontier section written for the overall Snowmass summary document.   The working group conveners are
formally authors of the first of these papers, and their work is summarized in the second.  So please go 
through these carefully and see whether they reflect the conclusions of the Snowmass working groups. 

Chip and I would like to receive input on these drafts in the following way:

1. For simple typos and wrong numbers, just email us and we will make the corrections.

2. For more important points -- anything beyond the above -- please email to the whole snowmass-ef list.

3. We will have a phone meeting at our usual time -- 11 am Pacific, 2pm Eastern -- on Thursday, October 10.
   At this meeting, we will discuss the most important issues that cannot be resolved by email.

Take your time, go through the reports carefully, and make sure they are as informative as possible within the
(already stretched) length limitations.

Chip is having knee replacement surgery tomorrow (a consequence of the trip to the DPF in Santa Cruz).
