Field strength is set correctly. There is some uncertainty about the 
correct length for the box field; v4 and older use the physical length of 
the magnet bore (36 inches = 91.44 cm) and v5 uses the FWHM of the 
measured field at y = 0 (108 cm), which should give approximately the 
correct integrated field.

Note the field definition in v5 has changed in the last couple of weeks 
(this is what we mean by "not yet a production detector" - we're still 
making changes in CVS).

A good test is to manually fire single beam-energy electrons into the 
detector and see where they go. "slic -n" will give you a Geant4 
interactive shell, and there are tutorials online for what you can do 
there.

There are tools for viewing stdhep events, but probably the easiest thing 
for you to do is to look at the MCParticles in the SLIC output in JAS. The 
stdhep particles should all be copied there; there will also be secondary 
particles.
