text/plain (83 lines)

Attendees: Daniel, AndyS, Serge, Fabrice, AndyH, Jacek

Jacek:
- #3084 cat migr finished, Serge to review
- #3133 exception class generalized
- #3087 (CSS)
    - Serge reviewing existing draft prototype,
    - Jacek looking into c api for zookeeper,
have some very early prototype working
- #1933 refmatch
    - partitioner understands refmatch now, but
we still need some tweaks to query representation
(#2995), Serge will confirm, and Daniel
will look into that next week

  - need to start thinking about summer qserv
hackathon week (Fabrice can come to USA
    once this summer)

- possible tasks for AndyS:
    - review how we use scons in Qserv (this is a small,
      short term task)
    - data loading (partitioner writing directly in
MyISAM format, merging data from multiple
      partitioners for the same chunk)
    - qserv core - tightening APIs/dependencies

Daniel:
  - pushed code with new structure and build system
    - hope to finish documentation tomorrow
  - looked at Andy's new xrootd client api
    - Serge, Fabrice planning to check the docs

Serge:
  - expecting to be back to lsst work next week

AndyH:
  - making some changes based on Daniel's feedback

Fabrice:
  - ongoing migration to eupsPkg: moved python,
    protobuf, mysqlpython
  - some issues found, need Mario to resolve them:
    a) mysqlpython depends on mysqlclient in stack,
and on mysql in qserv, need to clean up this
       type of things
    b) also issue with packaging python (version used by Mario)
       different from what we used
    --> document the issues
  - expecting to finish migrating remaining dependencies
    next week
  - then planning to write how-to use eups
  - then will integrate with the latest qserv structure
    recently pushed by Daniel

AndyS:
  - started reading qserv docs
  - next week wants to understand development process,
will talk to Daniel or Jacek

Bill (based on email exchange):
  - will look into logging after midterm on Monday

Post mtg discussion:
- would be worthwhile checking performance of Aria vs MyISAM,
looks like MariaDB distribution supports both Aria and MyISAM

Jacek
