Attendees: Fabrice, Daniel, Bill, AndyS, Serge, Jacek,
plus Mario for packaging discussion

Jacek
  - various start-of-construction related tasks:
job req, budget, discussions with HR, paperwork
    for Fabrice
  - discussion with a promising candidate from cern
    (not an official interview)
  - going through CSS review comments
    (a) from Daniel (most addressed) and
    (b) from Serge (barely started)

Daniel
  - sick, then at mysql conf
  - posted on trac notes from mysql conf and AFW meetings
--> let's discuss selected topics next week

Bill
  - met w/KT last week
  - most of features suggested by KT done
    - can embed key/value pairs
    - dynamic stack of logging contexts
      (replaces default-logger-per-module)
  - still need to finish documentation and examples,
    - will be done Tue, ideal time to talk to others
      from DM: next Thu

AndyS
  - vacation
  - tested DM-328
  - started to look into automated testing

Fabrice
  - validated partitioned and unpartitioned W14 RunDeepForcedSource
at scale, comparison showed data is always the same
  - DM-58 - zookeeper, db, kazoo packaged
  - next: working on css integration
  - packaging
    - want to use lsst standard procedure, now relying on
"quick and dirty" script (kept in contrib)
  - also working on DM-405

Qserv release
  - finish all outstanding reviews/comments/tickets that
can be wrapped up (incl CSS, join syntax) next week
  - merge everything the week after next
  - if we end up with broken Qserv, hackathon is the perfect
    time to fix it

Ultimate goal for S14?
  - Qserv should have the same functionality as before the redesign

Hackathon week
  - rename "hackathon" to "developer meeting"
  - Mario coming Thu/Fri
  - capturing topics to discuss at:

https://dev.lsstcorp.org/trac/wiki/db/Qserv/RedesignFY2014/Hackathon2/Planning
  - Fabrice wil demo how to develop multiple qserv versions in eups

Qserv packaging
  - Fabrice scripts - Mario built similar piece of functionality
(given top level package, recursively check and build all
    all dependencies, optionally package them...)
  - Switch to Mario's scripts. 2-3h work during hackathon

Jacek
