Btw., looking at base.git, if you're not using Boost (and don't want to
pull it in) it should be pretty straightforward to split it into a
package providing lsstimport and a separate package providing
boost-related macros.

Great! In general, if you guys find cases where it seems like too many
dependencies are getting pulled in, let's try to fix it.
