Hi,
FYI, I’m in the process of cleaning up the “Affects Version” and “Fix Version” settings in the HPS Java Jira, so that these are more clear.
I’m going to assign the “Affects Version” of all open items to “3.0.3-SNAPSHOT” which is the current rolling release that we are using. This version won’t actually be released, but will be closed out when the “3.0.3” release is made.
I will put the “Fix Version” as “3.0.3” for all open items as well. This will actually be released at some undetermined date.
Anything that is not resolved when “3.0.3” is actually released from its snapshot will be automatically moved to “3.0.4-SNAPSHOT” etc.
This should be done for any new items created where it makes sense, e.g. use “3.0.3-SNAPSHOT” for “Affects Version” and “3.0.3” for the “Fix Version.”
After the “3.0.3” is made then it would be…
Affects Version: 3.0.4-SNAPSHOT
Fix Version: 3.0.4
etc.
I hope this makes sense...
Thanks.
