Hello Rafo,
I haven't tried to duplicate your setup, but I did push your input stdhep file through my
standard chain of simulation and reconstruction. I haven't had time to look at the output
in detail, but the printout from one of the Drivers I was using indicated that things were
working well, viz.:
GBLOutputDriver: Total Number of Events = 1000
GBLOutputDriver: Total Number of Tracks = 1956
I'll try to find some time tomorrow to look at your steering file to understand what is
going on in your case.
Norman

Subject: simulate and reconstruct
Hi,
I am generating e-e+ events with fixed momenta (px=0, py = 0.04, pz=
1.05) GeV, for e+ only py is -0.04 GeV.
Then with standard procedure I am trying to get dst files:
slic->hps(readout)->hps(recon)->dst_maker
from generated 225 events I got only 174 in recon and 121 in dst, and
from that 121 only 3 events contained 1 track,
all others didn't have any track in it.
My expectation was that I should be able to get almost all generated
events, since they all are within HPS acceptance (see this figure from
one particular event)
https://userweb.jlab.org/~rafopar/HPS/gen_recon/em_ep_Wired_View.gif
Kyle provided me a trigger driver Alltrigger.java, which accepts all
events, and readout was done using that driver along with
TestRunTriggeredReconToLcio
(https://userweb.jlab.org/~rafopar/HPS/gen_recon/AllTrigger.java)
so it shouldn't be a trigger effect.
I am not sure where I am doing mistake(s).
I would appreciate any comments, suggestions.
In case if some additional information is need, I put files in the
following directory
File names are self explanatory
