I am on a relatively old stack (from July) and the current
there is still 3.2.8:
eups list xrootd
3.2.8-qsPatch5 current b74
4.0.0rc3-qsClient2 b76
which is no longer enough. I believe I heard I could change the
current permanently to point to the version I want, but I can't
remember how to do it, and poking around for <5 min didn't help,
so I just have a script that sets up the 4.* version for me.
