Ideally, no. mass-tag blindly tags all clones under the current
directory at the current checkout, so you would need to make sure that
only Qserv and its dependencies (and no other extraneous repositories)
are present and at the right spot in the version tree.
I would much prefer that releases be relabels of
buildbot-verified builds. This means that the SHA1s from the
versiondb/manifests directory should be used to tag the repository, not
the very simple and simplistic mass-tag script.
