So, that’s not switching between releases using eups product versions (I know, it’s confusing).
When you use eups distrib install you are specifying what is a manifest on the distribution server. For example you can
eups distrib install -t fe_test lsst_distrib
but what you are *actually* going to get is what buildbot built as b1775 (or whatever).
The question really was whether you guys are then using the eups quintessential functionality of switching between installed products like b1775 and b1774 by using the eups setup command. It doesn’t matter, Fritz’s reply implies that he does care about the eups product versions for readability anyway, so that’s fine.
