As of Dec 17 the RF driver in svn was supposed to put an RFHit
collection, even if empty, into all output events in order to
conform with dst-maker requirements.  I thought we had tested
that, although maybe not with MC.

Brad, are you using a jar older than that, or a steering file
that doesn't contain the RF driver?  

FYI, this requirement by the dst maker of an existing instance
of every collection in every event in the LCIO file doesn't make
sense to me.  Ok, probably there's a good reason for it.
