Dear CHEP 2016 Participants and Authors,
You are receiving this email because you have registered for the
CHEP 2016 Conference or because you are an author of an abstract
submitted to CHEP 2016.
1. If you are going to withdraw an accepted Oral or Poster presentation,
please do this as soon as possible. We urgently need to rearrange the
Oral sessions and the Poster layout after removing the presentations
that will not appear. To withdraw a contribution send email to
[log in to unmask]
2. Please upload to Indico by October 3 (one week before CHEP - this is a
week later than originally announced on the web site):
* A DRAFT of your presentation (Poster or Oral)
* One or two DRAFT slides giving the key message (highlights) of
what you will present.
Please see the web site for file naming conventions.
The purpose of these uploads is:
* To confirm that you will make the presentation.
* To confirm that you can upload to Indico.
* To allow a check for any issues (strange fonts etc.) that will
affect your Oral presentation.
* To give those preparing track highlights time to ensure that
Posters and Orals are given full consideration.
In the absence of any upload, our default assumption will be that
your contribution has been withdrawn.
3. Our room block in the conference hotel is now FULL. However there
are still some people with reservations at the Marriott who are
looking for someone to share their room. See the Participants¹
Notice Board (http://chep2016.org/node/17)
4. Please remove out-of-date postings from the Participants¹ Notice
Board
5. For other information (travel, restaurant suggestions,
Proceedings deadline and process, etc.) please see the chep2016.org
web site.
