Hello,
i've been struggling with the proper way of taking an xrootd node (aka
raid server) out of service because of aging disks.
I shutdown the xrootd/cmsd process of this raid.
But then it takes a very long time (tens of minutes or never) to make
the remaining xrootd cluster visible/accessible again on the clients.
Sometimes a reboot of client helps but not always.
Restarting the services on the xrootd command node does not help.
So what is the correct procedure to takedown a xrootd server node ?
Regards
Heiko
