Hello everybody,

Thanks a lot Riti for taking the lead on this and talking to the Arillaga head.

Currently people, except us, are not aware about scheduled usage of the court. I think that they should display the schedule of the court usage and this will clear the confusion from the air. The displayed schedule will also prevent the gym attendant from providing incorrect information about usage of the court.

We usually have some SLAC people playing basketball at the same time when we play badminton and in most cases this is the safe for the badminton players. The problem is the ZOOX people who came in large numbers (15-20 persons) and play very fast pace games on both sides of the badminton court, which creates the dangerous environment. I am afraid that this is only the matter of time when one of us is injured because of the environment created by ZOOX. I think that ZOOX people should be notified that they can play after 7PM only given that there are no badminton players on the court.

Thank you,

Grigoriy

Hello,
I spoke with the Arillaga head about our little encounter the other day. Here are some things to be aware of:
1) The courts are reserved from 5 till morning and we are not required to share.
2) In principle any person can come after we leave and we can request that they come at 8PM onwards.

I think it may be good to let them know that we play regularly. I see that the SLAC-badminton group has 21 subscribers. Is everyone still at SLAC and playing sometimes? Is it OK to take a poll here? If you agree please reply to this email by adding to the line below.

Name (# of times a week wants to play)
1) Ritimukta Sarangi (2-3)

Thanks,
Riti
