Subject: Santa Cruz Retreat June 27-29

Dear David,

Please advise your colleagues in Europe of our invitation to join
the meeting of the American linear collider physics community
at Santa Cruz, and our interest in their contributions
to the meeting. The procedure for arranging to present a talk in
the parallel sessions follows. We would appreciate your distributing
this message to the European community. Bruce Schumm has informed me
that the late registration fee can be waived for international

         Warmest regards,
        Jim Brau and Mark Oreglia

The Santa Cruz Retreat is approaching and we would like to call
your attention to the second day (June 28) during which there will
be parallel sessions for the detector and physics working groups.
We have asked the working group leaders to organize these sessions
   with the following elements

       o) Brief presentations from everyone expecting to submit
a proposal to some funding agency or another

       o) Somewhat longer talks on the progress of ongoing

       o) Invited `sub-plenary' talks on major issues

       o) Summary and perspectives from the WG leaders

       o) Time for group discussion if appropriate

It may not be possible for all requests for individual talks to be
honored, but at least all work should be represented either as
an individual talk, or within the summary talks.

If you would like to present a talk or have your work represented
during these sessions, please contact the appropriate working group
leader soon. Working group leaders are listed at

Looking forward to seeing you in Santa Cruz,

       Jim Brau and Mark Oreglia
