A Workshop on Linear Collider R&D Opportunities will be held at SLAC on May 31, 2002. Its goal is to facilitate university community involvement in LC detector and accelerator R&D. This workshop is aimed at those who missed the recent meetings at FNAL and Cornell, but want to learn how to get involved. It will build on the results from those meetings. Talks will cover outstanding R&D issues, status of ongoing R&D efforts, and R&D funding possibilities. Time and discussion will be allotted to generating seeds for proposals and coordinating with other efforts. All are welcome. Details about the workshop, including a tentative agenda and registration information, are on the web: http://www-conf.slac.stanford.edu/lcrd02 Looking forward to seeing you at SLAC, John Jaros (on behalf of the SLAC LC Working Group)
