Hi all, in http://www.slac.stanford.edu/~daniele/vub/complots/compweight.html you can find some studies about momentum spectra data-mc comparison. The conclusions of the study are the following: - charge track momentum spectrum and neutral energy spectrum show large disagreements between data and MC. - B0's and charged B's show different data-MC comparison. Most of the difference in charged track spectrum seems to be due to charged B's. The problem is probably in the MC spectrum. This effect is not due to different levels of purity between data and MC. - The neutral energy spectrum disagreement is similar for B0's and Bcha's. - reweighting properly each event according to these disagreements (see web page) does not improve the situation and does not give correct results.
