Hi all, here I show the plots requested by Vera with a tighter cut on pstar (>1.4 GeV). I remind you that this is the region in which we see the largest discrepancy in the pstar scan. Let's start (as usual) with the default (pstar>1.4GeV) Q0 -- All BRBR = 0.0169568 +- 0.00429284(stat) +- 0.00124551(MC stat) B0 BRBR = 0.00235403 +- 0.00709449(stat) +- 0.00221536(MC stat) Bch BRBR = 0.0264142 +- 0.00537665(stat) +- 0.00176532(MC stat) Q1 -- All BRBR = 0.0253766 +- 0.00483482(stat) +- 0.00142611(MC stat) B0 BRBR = 0.014166 +- 0.0076322(stat) +- 0.00230331(MC stat) Bch BRBR = 0.0335839 +- 0.00626531(stat) +- 0.00199422(MC stat) Pstar > 1.4 GeV --------------- Q0 -- All BRBR = 0.0130908 +- 0.00402655(stat) +- 0.00117558(MC stat) B0 BRBR = 0.000386693 +- 0.0283125(stat) +- 0.00222378(MC stat) Bch BRBR = 0.0219818 +- 0.00506049(stat) +- 0.00163685(MC stat) Q1 -- All BRBR = 0.0180254 +- 0.00458489(stat) +- 0.00134207(MC stat) B0 BRBR = 0.0053208 +- 0.00722136(stat) +- 0.0023749(MC stat) Bch BRBR = 0.0277197 +- 0.00593719(stat) +- 0.00183152(MC stat) and the plot for p*>1.4GeV are http://www.slac.stanford.edu/~daniele/vub/pcmsgt14q0.eps http://www.slac.stanford.edu/~daniele/vub/pcmsgt14q0B0.eps http://www.slac.stanford.edu/~daniele/vub/pcmsgt14q0Bch.eps http://www.slac.stanford.edu/~daniele/vub/pcmsgt14q1.eps http://www.slac.stanford.edu/~daniele/vub/pcmsgt14q1B0.eps http://www.slac.stanford.edu/~daniele/vub/pcmsgt14q1Bch.eps Remind that in these numbers everything is changing, Nu, BGvcb and Nsl and then the uncorrelated error could be very difference from the difference in quadrature. A conclusion could be: less background -> lower values especially for Q1. But for sure at this level the uncertainty in the B->ulnu spectrum can play a role. Daniele
