Hi Alessio,

I think you already know this, but let me remind you that all the 2002 SP4 MC produced so far has still the wrong generated beam spot size in y (85um instead of 4um). This has an impact on vertexing, so it should be corrected. There is an offline fix for that, see thread:

http://babar-hn.slac.stanford.edu:5090/HyperNews/get/physAnal/1427.html

If you run in analysis-13 with the extra tags (BtaMicroSequences V00-01-03-02 and BetaMicro V00-01-17-06) mentioned in

http://www.slac.stanford.edu/BFROOT/www/Physics/PhysicsReleases/extra_tags.html

then everything should be OK. However, looking at IslBrecoilUser/tags-080102 you pick the correct BtaMicroSequences but BetaMicro is different (and older than the above tag):

BetaMicro yumiceva-03June02
BtaMicroSequences V00-01-03-02

The BetaMicro tag is only needed if you are doing track smearing, which is perhaps done somewhere else (could you remind me?), so I think we should be safe.

We will start producing 2002 SP4 MC with the correct beamspot and Apr/May/Jun2002 conditions next week, and we will redo Jan/Feb/Mar2002 later. We already did an attempt to fix this before, but it did not work, so we are waiting for a fix in the Conditions DB and we need another snapshot for this...

Ciao, Concezio.

Hi all,
thanks to Henning we have discovered a bug in the tcl creation for MC
2002. This means that few runs on 2002 are duplicated runs.
I've removed those duplicated runs from the nfs area and from the tcl
area.
Now generic and cocktail are duplicate free.
thanks to all for the patience and to henning for pointing out the BUG!!!

alessio
