Ok, here's the situation: I've removed (in the last few days) all the corrupted rootfile that were coming from corrupted hbook files looking at the 'file size' (sorry to not have advide you about that..) So I do not see any problem with rootfiles. Here's my suggestion: compare your list of hbook files with rootfiles one. The rootfile one IS safe (I'm completing my check now but i think it's ok). The missing files (mainly crashed jobs) that can be recovered are going to appear soon in our public AWG area (I've just finished producing hbook files, rootfiles will be available soon). So please: --> Keep your hbook file list up to date with the root one that we have (and that I've fully checked). If there's anything missing after this large recovery I'm just finishing we'll go into details. Alessio P.S. we have to agree in a bookkeeping statement about hbook files: were to keep them? who needs the permissions? who's goign to take care of bookkeeping issues?
